Po' Shines Cafe De La Soul - Portland

Took my family here, finally. We’ve been wanting to go for ages. The food was amazing. I had the blackened catfish sandwich. So so great! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks!!!

My partner and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here tonight! It was the first time eating here for both of us. Easily my favorite restaurant I've been to in Portland this year!

Absolutely astonishing food and atmosphere. Proud black community diner overflowing with southern hospitality. I got the Brisket Sandwich which was juicy and succulent. I got the kids shrimp baskets and of course seeing them I had to dad tax one, flavor was next level good and they were HUGE. Seasoning was perfect, texture was perfect. Asian picky eater Wife got the blackened catfish and said it was the best catfish she's ever had... which honestly hurt my feelings, but everything else was so good I'll forgive her this time. Seriously try it.

Everything here is off the chain, only thing I dont like from here is the corn bread but everything else smacks. I read some of the lower reviews about this place and those are just haters honestly this place is fire

The food was incredible. Everything was perfectly cooked and flavorful. As great as the food was, the staff was even better. The staff made us feel special and just made the whole breakfast a wonderful experience. I cannot wait to come back. Also the music was a vibe.
