Pearl Thai Cafe - Portland

The appetizers were generous in size, receiving two thumbs up for that. Our waiter, Jesse, was fantastic – his infectious enthusiasm elevated our already lively group atmosphere. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for that. The food scored a perfect 5 out of 5.

It’s pretty hard to mess up Thai food but the two items I’ve had from this restaurant have been horrible. Yesterday I purchased the Pad Thai and it was so fishy I couldn’t even eat it. The price I was charged was also higher than the menu price. They said they hadn’t had a chance to update yet. Avoid and hit one of the many fantastic thai places in Portland instead.

Tried the fried rice with shrimps and chicken for 13.00 I got two shrimp lol the rice has no flavor at all .it was a 15 min wait for my food . something positive the server was decent. Won't be trying this place again.

Have you dined at this restaurant before? It's delicious! The complimentary hot Thai tea is a special treat. I work in the Pearl and they always have my order ready and well-made. They offer vegetarian options and the tofu dishes are delicious. The veggie choices are fantastic, packed full of fresh vegetables.

Our favorite Thai! Always fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Clean/simple atmosphere when eating in and sturdy to-go containers if take-out.
