Other Side Delicatessen - Portland

My boyfriend and I have been here 3 times and all 3 times the food was amazing. He loves the corned beef sandwich. The hot pastrami is my go-to each time. The last time we were there, we also picked up the pork belly banh mi. I can't even explain how good it is! We can't recommend this place enough.

Excellent beer selection. Great local snacks and desserts. Their deli counter is one of the few things that makes me wish I were not a vegetarian. Hot tip for vegetarians: they make an off-menu Roasted Veggie Italian on an out-of-this-world brioche roll. You will regret nothing.

I've been eating corned beef all my life, and I've had great corned beef in NYC, Boston and many other cities, but the corned beef at the Other Side Deli is far and away the best I've ever had. WOW!!! Thanks Other Side. Keep doing what you do.

My boyfriend and I ate here for the first time last week, at the West End location. We both ordered the shaved steak grinder, and LOVED every bite. Best shaved steak sandwich in Portland, in my opinion. Order it with the peppers, onions, vinegar. We will be back very soon!

Food is excellent, location is so easy, and the wine is fantastic at the best prices I have seen (apples to apples) in town. Everything I have ever ordered here has been delicious.
