Old Taste Of India - Portland

We always enjoy eating at New Taste of India. The food is well prepared and the service is always friendly and accommodating.

I’m surprised there aren’t 200 reviews for this place! This is the best Indian Food I’ve had in the US, definitely can’t leave Portland without eating here

The staff is really friendly. The sign is clearly readable. The menu is clearly posted. What's not to like? The prices are great too!

As a vegetarian, my choices on the lunch buffet were limited, but with the large portions, I had plenty of food. The naan bread was wonderful. I love spicy food, and we asked if they had extra spices to add; they brought a small dish of VERY spicy pepper sauce. Wow! It was at my upper limit, which is unusual but it was good when blended with the other sauces.

Mango lassi was nice. The owner was nice too. May come back to try more. The place smelled funny.
