Mcdonald's - Portland

I went to this restaurant today with my child. After we finished lunch, my child went to play and accidentally made a mess. I informed the staff and asked for someone to clean it up. Despite waiting for 30 minutes, no one came to address the issue. When I asked again, the cashier mentioned they were short-staffed and seemed unsure of what to do. After waiting an additional 5 minutes with no response, I requested a refund. The assistant manager, Cynthia, was unprofessional and condescending when I asked for a refund, even demanding the food back. Several other parents and their children also encountered the same lack of service. As I was leaving, Cynthia was seen laughing and discussing the situation with other customers. The poor service and cleanliness of the restaurant were unacceptable, and I will not be returning due to this experience. It is disappointing to be treated rudely and sarcastically by an employee after a prolonged wait for cleanup. Cynthia should be held accountable for her behavior and inability to manage the cleaning of the play area.
