Bidra med feedbackCute little coffee/bakery. I ordered the horchata oat latte iced. Super good! By the color I was expecting it to be bitter but it had the perfect amount of sweet. One my my fav coffees I have had in Portland. There is no wifi so be prepared and have a hotspot!
We found out about this spot in the to good to go which is trying to fight food waste (yelp if you listen buy that company from under armor lol it 's a perfect fit inside yelp . We never have found this place and it is is just opposite of one of our most favorite places lazy Susan. Crazy but that is how life works. We are so happy we found this place. It offers creation nowhere seen. Like a mock tuna salad that is so delicious even I that eats tuna will take over the real tuna sandwich. But of course they also have meat so I had the BEST bagel. Which in case is not a regular bagel but a polish one that is made with a bit different dough. It 's was delicious as well. They also have a nice bar area so the girls Brunch out is safe! Give it a try you will not be mad at me :
I order from them several times a week.... I probably spent thousands of dollars here on their baked goods and breakfast. I haven't even tried their lunch or soups... yet. This is all via DoorDash btw. I have to go there and dine in one day. It's silly how much I spend on DoorDash. I love bringing pastries back to the Bay Area when I visit family. They love the banana walnut Bundt, bookies, croissants (all of them) but omg the hand held pies!!!! Everything is fresh, they have seasonal stuff which is something I'm always excited for, and nothing it's overly sweet or rich. You can't really go wrong with anything you order from here. Anyone that comes to visit us I will order from here but next time I'm going there to dine in. I have more photos which I will update later but this is just from half my order this weekend.
Hungry Heart is a friendly, community-minded bakery and coffee shop in the Montavilla neighborhood. They started as a food cart back in 2010. Now this brick and mortar offers cupcakes, coffee, breakfast and lunch, soups, pastries, cookies, muffins, and more. I stopped by recently while I was running errands in the neighborhood. It was a great space to sit and work for an hour or two between other obligations. I don't know who their roaster is but I quite enjoyed the coffee, and the quiche was gigantic and delicious. The space looks like it's transitioning from COVID to-go orders back to dine in, but there is plenty of seating. Street parking. Friendly staff. Solid overall!
Stopped in to pick up 2g2g and decided to stay for lunch w mumsies and check out the menu. Order up: -Tuna melt w salad -Croissant sammy (club) w tortilla soup All dishes were delish and would order again! Space has high ceilings, spacious and good amount of seating w tables and booths to choose from. Wonder if there was more avail seating pre-covid. They also had a Q fake fireplace in corner by couple tables w some plants for some nice ambiance. Would def come back through to try other menu items.
