Brass Tacks Sandwiches - Portland

I have soooo many dietary restrictions, and Brass Tacks crew never let's me down!!! ...and is always smiling! LOVE IT!

I had the vegan Meatball Wizard today and it made me cry. Granted, I've been dieting and can't remember the last time I had a sandwich that wasn't just hummus on rice crackers. But don't let that color my glowing recommendation. I've had many vegan Brass Tacks sammiches pre-diet ...uh oh) and I enjoyed them all immensely. But it was today that inspired me to write a review.

Friendly, chill staff, super yummy sandwiches with high quality ingredients. I built my own sandwhich with roast beef, avocado, provolone, lettuce, garlic aioli and dijon on ciabatta. It was perfect! Not a cheap sammy but definitely worth it. The roast beef was cooked perfectly and so succulent. They have a beer and a cider on tap and some in cans and bottles plus kombucha, and sodas. The place is teeny but if you go in between the breakfast and lunch rushes, you can get some quiet moments for a casual date.

Delicious! Great gluten free bread options, not your typical teeny-tiny dry bread.
