Anna's Island Cafe - Portland

Got the Reuben, and fries. Could have been better, maybe the Diamler togo/ cater order took preferable treatment. 3 tables on the main side that took over 30+ min to get food from the kitchen. Glad I was off and not on lunch.

Some of the best food in the area. The paninis are ridiculously good, especially the gyro version. They have awesome weekly lunch specials first come first serve. The owners are wonderful people and try to befriend everyone that comes into their restaurant. I miss them! Keep this place alive at all cost!

The owners run this place on their own! They treat everyone like family! Actual care about you as a person. They remembered my name the first time and greeted me by it weeks after I had been there.

The place all around was just me. They were out of several items and seemed vhallenged to make changes to some dishes to meet our dietary needs. Not many options on the island so we gave it a shot. Won't be returning.

We showed up an hour and a half after opening as we had an early service appointment in this industrial area. Mocha was impressive. Breakfast was great! Service was also great. A nice hole in the wall, their lunch specials looked good too, I'll have to come back for a lamb gyro sometime ?! Owner was working and a pleasure to talk with. She seems to keep everyone on track and a clean place.
