Sunshine - Portimão

Tiny little restaurant hidden away a short distance from the river Arade. It seems popular for sushi they give you a notepad you write down the dishes you want from a menu. I however went for the hot Chinese style lunch menu for €9.95 for staters 4 x veg spring rolls nice with crispy pastry a dip then for main beef onion in Oyster sauce with veg noodles (could have had other options like chicken curry, sweet sour egg fried rice other choices in the €9.95 menu) with a cola bill came to €11.90. Doesn’t look the most pretty but tasted lovely pretty much like we have in the U.K. often over in Portugal it’s a little tasteless if you go to a Chinese or Japanese restaurant this wasn’t at all. Cooler seating inside service quick. Lots of Portuguese eating sushi there ordering takeaways which is usually a good sign. It was good value quick to be served

Good restaurant with fresh fish. If you love sushi, come here to be satisfied. Avoir the number 51 : California atum picante. Bon appétit

This delightful little restaurant is a must if you love Japanese food and happen to be in Portimao. We didn’t even realise it is just €12.95 for all you can order sushi and small plates. When we first arrived there were no tables outside so on asking the hostess how long we would wait she quickly ran inside and brought an indoor table and two chairs outside for us! So accommodating and then the food started arriving utterly delicious! So good we came back two days later! Don’t miss out!! x

Fantastisch lekker eten. We zijn best wel verwend, maar dit eten is buitengewoon lekker. Komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Comida saborosa fantástica. Somos bastante mimados, mas esta comida é extremamente saborosa. Definitivamente voltarei novamente.
