Encontro De Amigos - Portimão

Set out to have a meal in one of the most rustic and countryside type restaurant around, 'Encontro de Amigo ', you hit the main road from Portimao to Monchique EN 266, where you find the restaurant in the tiny village of Rasmalho. The food is good, but an atmosphere like here, is nowhere else to be found, spending a warm summer night under the bougainvillea, drinking Portuguese wine is the utmost pleasure, when it comes to a culinary experience. Driving on the on the EN 266, near Rasmalho, locally known as Storkville.you can watch the daily life of storks, nests, flying storks, sometimes on the ground are 5, 50, 500 storks.

Asked hotel for recommendation and this was it . local , friendly inexpensive and very tasty . evey item was good apart form the lamb chops and felt we were in rustic portugal ,

We have a villa locally and year in year out this place has never disappointed us or other guests staying at our villa. The food it traditionally Portuguese and simply lovely. They always have fresh fish, bread and a Portuguese dish of the day. The Piri Piri chicken is to die for and the veal steak house style is nothing short of delicious. The setting is lovely and relaxed and service is good. You know a good Portuguese place when it is full to the brim with locals, especially at lunchtime and on Sundays. This place is not in any town as such but if you are visiting Monchique I would definitely recommend you visit for a meal as it will not be beaten on food/value for money. We are returning to Portugal this weekend and I already have my taste buds tingling for the veal, see you soon Encontro de Amigo

Dimanche c'est plein mais ils essaient de prendre tout le monde, excellent emporrado de borrego avec du vin de casa. a ne pas manquer

Juste un mot GÉNIAL et de répondre au mauvais commentaire précédent séjour en ville si vous n'avez pas le temps! Ici pas de stress cuisine typique et très bonne réception des grillades les plus agréables faites devant vous!! Et pour 3 personnes avec 4 bières dessert soda et 2 salades 37.80€! Je conseille aux yeux fermes
