Philp's Famous Pasties - Porthleven

I was very excited to be able to have a pastie whilst in Cornwall. Unfortunately there was only one pastie option that was vegan, however they only have 5 different flavours in total!

To agree with most other comments. They do not have a large menu and offer a vegan option. The pastry is very good. The filling is delicious, but it is only potato, carrot and onion, with spices. I think they could do better. I do not expect many options, an option is fine, but try harder.

We have this for the first time recently very good vegan baked goods with all normal vegetables (potatoes, potatoes, etc.), pepper and good quality pastries. Would recommend as lunch or snack.

I agree with the majority of other reviews. This restaurant has a small menu but does offer a vegan option. The baked dish is delicious, with a tasty filling of potato, carrot, and herbs. However, I believe they could improve by adding more variety to the dish. While I don't expect a wide range of options, a little more effort in creating diverse choices would be appreciated.
