El Tapatio - Porterville

Crispy chicken and Birria tacos ???? The chips and salsa are a dish on their own. The chips/tostadas are so light and airy the salsa has a nice kick that keeps you coming back for more but doesn't burn your mouth off.

Great food and excellent service. Great place to meet up with the family.

This is a great restaurant. They have wonderful service. The thing you have to try is their warm mole sauce with chips . Of course they have all the traditional dishes however the sauce that is on the enchiladas is the same mole sauce and it is delicious. I've never tasted anything like it. It's not a chocolate mole but it is so good You've got to try it.

Am visiting from Las Vegas but am from Porterville. Have been coming to El Tapatio since I was a kid, kind of one of my stops. Not much has changed.. Always for the Menudo..

I loved coming here until today. Our waitress by the name of Zaira was extremely rude. When I called to speak to the owner in regards to this she was rude to me too. We already had a bad experience and she just added to it. So disappointing
