The dinning room is very cozy, small rustic-modern ambience and the staff is very friendly and professional without being too intrusive. Went for the 6-courses tasting menu with the wine pairing, everything was absolutely cooked to perfection and...the wine pairing was spot on. Kudos to chef Renato Cunha and his team, keep up the good work. I’m sure a Michelin star is just around the corner.
If you wanna try amazing food this is the spot. Chef Renato Cunha is a star! Definitely the food does not get better because of the stars, but Guia Michelin has for sure their criteria messed up. Highly recommend if you enjoy great food perfectly...matched with the wine. Just go!
We've been here twice for a family meal excellent food and service overall. This restaurant is ~10km from Braga center so it needs some organizing to get to if you want to enjoy a wine and drive home safely afterwards. I believe this restaurant...is absolutely one of the best of the surroundings of Braga. It serves à la carte and extensive menus for reasonable price within this category of restaurant. For us, the best was that our daughter (3y) was welcome here and received a well adjusted meal. The meals are pretty salty for foreigner standards, so ask for reduced salt at the start of the meal in case you don't like this. The wine pairing offered is very generous and consists of very well chosen wines at medium price range. If you are a wine buff, I would recommend choosing the wines yourself.
I love this place. Dinner today was perfect! Quality Price this is the best restaurant ever! And I travel a lot around the world. This place does not have Michelin stars, but they deserve it. I tried the best in the world, which was...3 times in a row the reward, and this place does not own anything to Cellar de La Roça. Just go there and enjoy it!
