Bidra med feedbackI ordered the grilled Florida salad with shrimp, which was not only beautiful but also fresh and delicious. My partner enjoyed the grilled snapper with gouda grits and plantains, saying it was really good. My son had the crab legs with Cajun butter, which were fresh, hot, and yummy. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
Man, in todays service environment, it?s tough to be critical of restaurants. I get it there aren?t enough employees and it is what is. With that said, here is my experience tonight. Checked in. Waited 30 min, got a text our table was ready. We were some the last folks seated at 8:27pm. We ordered appetizers and our meals. We didn?t receive our food until post 10pm because the cook had messed up several orders. It was a disaster. Take that experience for what it it. The coconut shrimp tacos and grouper sandwhich Were excellent. The fried seafood sampler was ample size but a bit heavy. The fried pickles and goat cheese appetizer not worth their price. Man, I hate writing bad reviews but we just caught them on a bad night. Great location and vibe.
We are so glad we finally tried this place. They have an awesome setup with great outdoor dining and pet friendly patio. They also have corn hole out front to play. There?s a bar inside, a few tables inside, and plenty of TVs. We arrived after 7PM and had a small wait because they were understaffed, but that was no problem for us. We sat at a table outside the dining area and then grabbed drinks from the bar and just hung out. Once we were seated our waitress was so friendly, accommodating, and helpful with placing our orders. We ordered fried pickles to start, one of us got shrimp and a side of Gouda cheese grits, another got blackened chicken tacos, and lastly the Mac n cheese burger. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The food was some of the best we?ve had when visiting the area. Can?t say enough great things about the staff and how awesome they were. Definitely stop in if in the area.
During our initial visit to Port St. Joe, we found this restaurant to be a great choice for a meal. Despite arriving close to closing time on our first night, the staff didn't hurry us. The outdoor seating area is roomy and pleasant. The following night was even better, with a laid-back atmosphere, tidy restrooms, and enjoyable corn hole games for entertainment.
The service and food at this restaurant were exceptional. The shrimp and burgers were delicious, especially the Mac Cheese burger and the smashburger. The quality of the burger meat was impressive, and the hand cut fries were excellent. The standout was the mile-high chocolate cake, which was huge, fresh, and incredibly tasty. We had to take a big portion of it to go because it was so good. The peanut butter pie that my granddaughter had was also a hit. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
