John Dory's Shelly Beach

Prices are somewhat steeper than restaurants around them, but their foods are very high quality. You can really see that they have a chef who cares and leads right as they also came out at one point to ask customers how their food was. We had a milkshake and shared a Kalamari main thing between two people for which they separated the meal themselves on two plates and served us magnificently. We didn't even ask for so much effort, but they delivered

I would like to take this opportunity to say the service from John dorys shelly beach was excellent. I am on holiday from Durban and did a take out order. I got a little lost when I got to the Centre so I called in to find out exactly where they are and instead of asking too many questions an employee named Carey was extremely kind she asked where I was and actually brought the food and card machine to me. My wife and I was extremely amazed with her service especially since it was at 20h00 at night. The food was still hot and tasted delicious unlike many fish n chips restaurants in Durban. I wish we had more people like her in the restaurant industry. Excellent service Carey keep it up at this rate u will keep many customers happy...

We had an awesome time as a family and the lady that served us (forgot her name as it was a few weeks back) was just amazing.

The service at this restaurant is fantastic. My food arrived fast and was prepared perfectly. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Food was excellent with huge portions that were tasty and presented on lekker-looking plates. On the other hand the service was meh and the waitress disappeared halfway through the meal. We called the soda fountain ladies to assist us and things improved. The play area is great fun. Good venue.
