Those Guys Diner - Port of Spain

Great breakfast place, convient on the aripita avenue. they serve breakfast 24 hours. menu has a lot of choices and is affordable, the service is great. wlan use them free of charge. it did not have to wait too long, the time may vary when the places are full, but it was not too time. the food was really delicious and well presented.

The service was alright and you get a true diner experience. The servings were huge (as it should be for breakfast foods). Overall, we enjoyed the experience.

Follow me on my FB page: Cuisine on the Corner. So this morning we fulfilled our promise to our daughter to carry her to a restaurant for Trinidad Tobago Restaurant Week. She wanted to try Those Guys Diner so we agreed. Well, we got there early, only to find out that Restaurant Week ended yesterday. Damn, well we are already here so we decided to stay to have breakfast. So we checked the menu and ordered eggs. Ok, #ThoseGuysDiner is a 24hr diner that serves feel-good food. Sounds weird? Well, that 's what they do, fried eggs, grilled and deep-fried chicken and waffles, fluffy pancakes, Dogs and Burg 's. Yup, that 's the context of what they 're about, oh they also have some great specials I 'm told, lol. Anyway, between the three of us we ordered a breakfast of eggs. Cross and Crosette had omlettes and french vanilla cappuccinos and I had my favorite, two eggs sunny-side up with a beagle turkey ham and coffee black. We got in there and saw just 2 tables filled, we took our table and I went to the counter, made the order and was served in under 15 minutes. The meals was hot, they serve real eggs, all omelettes are served with 2 slices of various toast and coffee or tea. The meal was great, service was good, very clean surroundings and not surprisingly, customers kept coming in. End result: Pros: Good simple breakfast, with all the trimmings available. I 'm going back to taste the lunch/dinner dishes. Surroundings clean and service efficient. Food served in a timely fashion and, They keep the promise of 'feel-good ' foods, most important. Cons: they don 't serve pork. Dang!

The food is great and not as expensive as other places. The Lamb Burger is amazing.

Still closed... Went end of June and was closed and told they would be opening back July 1st. Went a second time on July 16th and STILL CLOSED. Not sure if they'll be opening back any time soon. But was really disappointed. They really should update their Google page to say temporarily closed instead of open 24hrs.
