'Pasta D 'Angelo ' was the venue for daughter purchased, delivered, and gifted pasta dishes for our 'Mother 's Day ' Sunday dinner. I made, and added a fresh, green salad, but otherwise, it was basically, a just cook serve meal, and a such a nice treat for the day!!Pasta D 'Angelo, under normal, business circumstances, is a supplier of gourmet pasta products to the food service industry out here in western Canada. In their words, they manufacture, and supply gourmet fresh and frozen pastas, using Classic simple Italian recipes . Facing reduced demands during the current pandemic, they had recently opened sales of some of their products to the general public.The pasta 'goodies ' purchased: Note: each were frozen, and descriptions as per supplier. Seafood Agnollotti (2 bags, 850 g ea) a large ravioli shaped pasta w gourmet fillings. Lasagna Vegetarian Florentine (1 950 g tray) a pasta dish alternating from pasta sheets to layers of vegetables and cheeses.Everything easy to cook and serve, and so easy to savour and enjoy!! Tasty and flavourful, and I made no additions of sauces or such, just a little butter on the Agnollotti. The lasagna, was especially enjoyed and offered such a melt in your mouth texture and goodness!!Thanks to daughter, and 'Pasta D 'Angelo ' for making our Mother 's Day dinner such a tasteful treat!!
This place is mostly a manufacturer of pastas to fine restaurants. They are occasionally open to the public on on Saturday. They have homemade ravioli(mushroom,squash, seafood, etc), lasagna, gnocchi and more.
