Menchie's Frozen Yogurt - Port Moody

This store is in a great location with plenty of village seating outside and tables and chairs inside. The frozen yogurt and varied selection of toppings are delicious and a welcome treat after a long walk around the inlet, particularly on a warm summer evening....However... There is nothing reasonable about the price as it is a high price to pay for this type of treat.

If you haven't been to Menchie's yet - you must! They offer many flavors of yogurt, which you self serve - then you get to add your own toppings. From green tea, coconut, pure chocolate yogurt...to fresh fruit toppings, syrups, nuts, candies. YUM!

Pure fun for kids and the kid in everyone. Something satisfying about dispensing the frozen yogurt yourself instead of waiting for an underpaid teenager to do it for you. You get to sample all the flavors and then load up the ones you want with treats of your choice. In addition to the usual candy and nuts, there's Japanese mochi and those little balls of flavored juice like you get in bubble tea. I would give it 5 stars, but some of the flavors are weird (Lucky Charm flavor?--kids like it though so what do I know). And some of the fruit flavors you would expect to be really good are slightly disappointing. For instance, peach: not that peachy. Green apple: artificial tasting. My personal fave: purely tart (with lychee balls). Great location in Suter Brook, place will probably be packed all summer!

Friendly service, horrible yogurt ice creams. I never tasted such a sweet artificial flavour. They became famous because Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, but that's it. Portions are huge and good to gain a lot fat on your body. No yogurt flavour at all.

You can't go wrong with menchie's! We go here at least once a month even in the winter. You can also buy containers of frozen yogurt to take home. If you haven't been, go! You will not regret it.
