Spinnakers Restaurant - Port Macquarie

Located next to the Sails Resort, Spinnakers is more than just a hotel restaurant. It is a popular standalone restaurant that attracts both locals and guests. The spacious layout with a glass frontage overlooking the marina ensures that most tables have a great view. We made a reservation online and were warmly welcomed by the host, who charged our meal to our room. We ordered the Scotch fillet steak and crayfish fritters, both of which were delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection with a classic pairing of sides, while the crayfish fritters had a delicate flavor. For dessert, we chose the vanilla bean pannacotta and walnut and chocolate brownie, both of which were exceptional. The pannacotta was fresh and zesty, while the brownie was rich and creamy. Overall, Spinnakers is a winner in our book and we would definitely return on our next visit to Port Macquarie.

Service was excellent. Food was superb. Dont hesitate to consider a meal here. There weee families around us aswel with children, they catered to them, serving them off the menu drinks and meals. From someone who does not review often, WELL DONE!

Professional staff, brilliant food and magnificent outlook over the marina.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights during our trip and had a studio suite with a terrace facing the river, which was very good. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant with very professional service. The food was very good and the view was amazing.

The waitress was A Class. She couldn't do enough to satisfy us. Straight away we were presented with an option for still or sparkling water then my steak was a little tough as the kitchen was in a temporary set up and she ran to get me another one then checked to make sure it was to my satisfaction. Even though the hotel was under renovations and the restaurant had a temporary set up (and perhaps Chef) we still enjoyed our night due to the lovely service.
