Bidra med feedbackWent to Fusion 7 on Thursday night with a group of friends. Menu was varied with wonderful choices. Soft shelled crab followed by barramundi and the a divine creme brûlée. Food was fabulous with lots of flavours. Great wine selection. Service was great as well. Very friendly staff- didn't rush us out even though we were the last people there. Wonderful intimate restaurant in the heart of Port Macquarie. Would highly recommend.
I will start with the old cliche "do yourself a favour " this restaurant is world standard. Pre ordered a anniversary cake for my parents and the wonderful wife of one of the partners went that extra mile and even procured a beautiful cake which was delicious and even a gorgeous topper for them. Good was **** awesome I ordered barramundi and it melted in my mouth crispy skin and mouth watering accompanying side dishes sisters had the duck and wanted more. The wine list both red and white is fantastic and the lovely little waitress Zoe was fantastic and truely deserved the tip we gave her....don't miss this restaurant it's a must do in Port Macquarie.
Cannot fault this restaurant. Entree was amazing! It was the Haloumi. It tasted so delicious my only complaint would needing a bigger serving! Had the lamb for main and it was cooked to perfection. So many desserts to choose from. Great service. Huge drinks menu. I'll definitely be back!
The food could not be faulted, but the poor service and haughty attitude of the waiters spoiled our recent dining experience. It was the first time we had visited Fusion 7 and we will not be tempted to return.
My wife and I had a terrible dining experience last night. We will not return, even if we were offerred free meals for a week/year!!We made a reservation and arrived on time. The restaurant was not busy with one waiter only. We waited in an open doorway to be seated, to find a table had not been reserved for us. We found our own table that was near impossible to sit down at without bumping the person behind. We tried to read the menu with very small font in poor lighting. We took a photo on our phone and zoomed in so we could see what to order. We ordered pre dinner drinks, entrees, mains and a expensive bottle of red along with some water please. After kindly asking for some water another 3 times ( then watching the waiter clear the table next to us) I approached the counter to get my own water, I mentioned very politely we had asked 4 times already, and was told to sit down and they will bring it. I took the dirty toilet key from a glass on the front counter and walked to some public share toilets around back, lucky it wasn't pouring rain. When I returned to my table the staff had told my wife that I was being 'precious' asking for water, yet they did not have the coutesy to apologise for the poor service. The pre dinner drinks were average. The entree was very small and poor value for money, 3 prawns for $24!! And horrible food. Rip off.The mains were inedible, being lamb and beef dishes. The dishes were a mess of food with disgusting sauce and the meat cut up for us like we were todlers! Who does that? So we both left our dishes uneaten with our cutlery apart, something very rare for us and we eat out alot. The waiter did not even ask how our meals were at any stage. Also prior to attempting mains my lovely wife asked kindly for some cracked pepper. The waiter returned and slammed it on the corner of the table for her to use! This was the cruncher for me to voice my opinion about Fusion 7. This restaurant has nothing going for it. There are so many other great places to eat in Port Macquarie with proper service. Do not waste yor money at Fusion 7.
