Bidra med feedbackI went in to see if there were any vegetarian options. None. Went next door to Peebeeandjay. They have awesome food.Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options.
Great tasting sandwich. A nice change up to all the other cold sandwich offerings in the area.
My partner and I had never been to a Paris Baguette before, in fact we didn't realize it was a chain until later. We wanted to like it but nothing we ordered tasted good and the quality seemed sub-par. They didn't have any bread to make sandwiches which seemed strange as they are a bahn mi restaurant. The service was friendly but our order was packed to go even though we were seated inside and we were never asked if we wanted our food to go. Perhaps not the restaurant's fault, but we also observed three roaches and one cricket running around on the floors of the restroom and dining area.
We're always on the hunt for good Bahn Mi. This place didn't disappoint m. My husband ordered the Banh Mi Sandwich with grilled pork 4.5/5. The bread was crusty on the outside, not too bread y on the inside, well pickled vegetables and super flavorful meat. Hubby said it's one of the best he's had. And he's picky. Also the size was gignormous. It really could be two meals. The spring rolls were big 4/5 perfectly cooked shrimp, vermicelli noodles and crispy greens! For $7 they were an amazing deal. Each one (1 order has 2) was the length of my iPhone. Good fresh house made boba. Standard Thai iced tea. The lychee smoothie boba was too sweet. We couldn't finish it. It was sickly sweet. Garlic noodles with teriyaki chicken 3.5/5 well cooked chicken, well cooked and seasoned noodles, but bland boiled broccoli served with it. If they would just toss the broccoli into the teriyaki sauce, it would be great. Really reasonably priced for large portions of food.
Don't waste your time and money here. The banh mi is bad. Bread is not crusty and chewy. Bread is not French bread but is a sub-type bread. The pickled veggies are not all real in-house pickled. Food tasted stale and bland. Go to a real pho restaurant instead. They serve to-go as well. This is based on comparisons of real banh mi in LA, SGV and OC. Much better there.
