Papas Pizzaland - Port Hope

My family and I recently began ordering from this restaurant a few weeks ago. We have made it a tradition to enjoy their delicious pizzas every weekend, as they were highly recommended to us. We have tried various flavors and have found each one to be very tasty. The best part is that our pizzas are always ready for pickup on time, and often even before the estimated time stated online.

I used to be a loyal customer of this restaurant for years. Recently, I ordered a large walk-in special and was disappointed to find that the cheese and pepperoni were burnt and black. When I asked for a replacement the next day, the manager refused and claimed that they were the best pizza in the city. I also found a cockroach on the pizza, but hesitated to bring it up as I had been a loyal customer. It's unfortunate to be treated this way after years of patronage. The cockroach I found was a pregnant female with babies, adding an unwanted protein topping to my meal. I recommend staying away from this pizza place. I travel the world doing pizza reviews and would give this establishment a negative one-star rating. Support other restaurants that prioritize customer satisfaction and quality standards.

The pizza was mediocre at best. The crust was overworked and very chewy, making it unpleasant to eat. It was comparable to a frozen, oven-cooked pie.
