Bottega Toscana - PORT FAIRY

We felt at home (we are Italian.) the staff was very nice with us, and the atmosphere was warm. the food was good and the last bill was incredibly low after what we ate. perfect!

Five. we had here last night the risotto was the best thing my partner had ever eaten and the osso buco was fantastic will recommend everyone

Where do I start? phone and leave a message to make a booking, no one called back, no booking. they set us up outside what was in order. the bruschetta, which was covered with raw reddish, was terrible. the spaghetti and meatballs of my wife taste. how it came out when a zinn best. I ordered tagliatelle alfredo and I was served fusilli. the man promised us a “discount” how sticky you can. my wife asked for fresh chili and bocconcinj on her pasta. we are still waiting for it to happen. go somewhere else.

They could have abducted themselves on Sunday night we visited. around 17.30 clock we ordered two meals, paid and was told it would be ready 20/25 minutes. half an hour later it was apparently moved and another half an hour needed. ok. half an hour later...the apology was that they were overwhelmed and needed another 30 minutes. 40 minutes later, it seemed that the staff consciously ignored us. I asked and they would need more time! I had enough and they gave me my money back with an apology. problem is that the only other place was opened was a pizza place and at the time we went to see if that was possible, the pizza place was full and the line was out of the door.

Hubby and I enjoyed tasty bruschetta on thinly sliced toasty bread, tagliatelle with meatballs, and alfredo pasta. Meatballs were exquisite, and I loved the explanation of the items on the menu. I don't like a lot of meat, and this was just right. The room...was warm on a cold night, and we enjoyed a bottle of shiraz with our meal. Service was prompt, without being overwhelming.
