Saffron - Port Elgin

Butter Chicken and Mediterranean Chicken were the best. The Med Chicken came with a mint yogurt that was unbelievable. We went without reservations and were seated on the HUGE patio out back. They don't have a liquor licence but this is not needed to sample good food. We got there just as the place opened and their phone rang the entire time with people making reservations for later in the evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian based food with plenty of options including Vegan.

This little gem has a small menu but they make everything to perfection ! Love eating in and doing take out. You pretty much need a reservation to eat here on most days, Their Sunday breakfast is great as well! I will continue to eat here and recommend this place to most people who ask me about where to eat In the area

Quanity per take out meal very small for the price. Expensive for the quanity given. I will never go there again. Also i am a French cuisine chef.

It is my go-to for sunday brunch. I love their eggs Benedict, whether the original one with peameal bacon or the one with paneer curry. I love my curries but I can't take the spice. This restaurant gives you the best of both worlds. No spice with burst of flavour!

Went with the family. The Indian inspired dishes were excellent (butter chicken and madras special). Also had the pad Thai which was flavourful if a little lacking in heat. I think the only complaint that we would have is that the seasoning was off (food was either a little over-salted or under-salted) but that wasn't enough to wreck the meal in any way.
