Dave's Takeaway Fish Chips

I wish my name was dave. very nice loading. interesting thema, full of people who have been in the load, called dave. Apart from this gimmick, eating is very good. the hamburger I had (with the lot) was made with high quality and fresh ingredients. You can say that. it was very good, the best I had in very long time. some sitting outside, but not really catering to dine in mozens. in a Monday night the place was very busy!

Very good value for money! we had scattered the fish of the day and a barra. the fish and chips were really delicious. crispy chips and we didn't find it too fat. we also ordered two burgers. a cheeseburger and a grilled chickenburger, both of which were really good. I loved the house made (I suppose it's like it's so delicious) beef patty. dave is a lovely Smiley type and has taken our order.

Awesome burgers and fish chips. We could easily see that they were made fresh. Very friendly service, and reasonable prices as well. Loved looking at the wall of Daves while we waited for our order my husband was wishing his name was Dave so he could have his photo up there too! All in all, our takeaway lunch was great. Definitely recommend.

I loved Dave's Takeaway! The concept of the place with the wall of Dave's was very cool and a great idea for a franchise. It's a very popular place so expect a short wait for very high quality fish and chips. The single pack of battered fish and chips was cooked to perfection. And the tartare sauce was also really good. I would definitely visit again

Best fish and chips I have ever eaten. I googled the best fish and chips in port Douglas and Dave’s fish and chip came up so we thought we would give them a go. I’m so glad we did! Starting with ordering your food you are greeted with very happy and helpful staff that can help you choose something suitable for you. The fish we had was the red emperor and oh my god it was and is the best fish I have ever eaten! It was then followed by very yummy crispy chip. We also got home made potato cakes and I was blown away again! They were so creamy and yummy yet again the best I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend Dave’s fish and chips not only for their amazing customer service but also their delicious food.
