Sparta Greek Taverna - Port Coquitlam

A welcoming environment with delicious food served by warm, attentive staff. The saganaki, dolmades and calamari stand out as appetizers. The lamb is exceptional and the distinct flavour of the Greek-style potatoes prove that the kitchen staff know what they’re doing.

Had a great evening at Sparta, very friendly professional staff, my meal was excellent and the service was outstanding! If you are looking for a fun night out with great food, you will find it here!

Want to begin by saying that the server was great and that has nothing to do with them and the service. there were at 630 and waited for half an hour to eat. we wanted to have an hour waiting, but we hope it will take every minute. we saw so many take-out and jump orders while we waited. when the food finally came out, it was as bland and tasted like nothing. the server felt so bad that she bought us a desert, but we just wanted to get out. kitchen really needs to find out what they do because it negatiw affects the server and their tips that is unfair. I understand that the things are happening and the kitchens are supported, but they should have prepared for a day like Mother Day and found out.

The lamb souvlaki, veal parmigiana, BBQ ribs, and seafood alfredo were more than enough for our party of four. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will likely visit this restaurant more often when they open during lunchtime.

The food was fantastic. Our server Vanessa was excellent. Thank you. We will definitely return.
