Carl's Jr - Port Coquitlam

Stopped here for lunch. Diamond Parking ticketed me saying I left the lot when I didn’t! That left a worse taste in my mouth than lunch so needless to say I won’t be back.

It was early afternoon and I thought I would try Carl 's drive-thru. After being greeted I was asked to be on hold for a minute, which was fine by me as it gave me time to peruse the menu (I was not familiar with what they offered), however, the delay was VERY long. I said, Hello a couple of times and was about to drive up to the window assuming that maybe the speaker system wasn 't working properly. Finally, someone came on to take my order. I asked what the difference was between two of the burger and instead of answer, she took it as me ordering two meals. I had to repeat it carefully and I finally did get an answer. Then I asked if I could substitute an item and was told the price, which increased $2. That made it over $8 for a drive-thru burger, which I think is ridiculous, so just ordered it the way it comes. The burger was barely cooked and lacked flavour. Makes me think there is a good reason why I seldom see anyone inside. I will not be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised how good this burger was. It had pineapple in it and had great grill flavour. I also ordered the ice cream sandwich but they gave it to me before the burger and by the time I got to it, the ice cream was so soft and it was messy to eat. The cookies were too hard so it made it difficult to eat. Next time I will stick with just a burger but will try their fries. Service was quite slow too, especially for a drive through. Pricing is reasonable.

I usually do take out, but is looks big enough to enjoy a meal.I really like there hamburgers.I fine there pricing comparible to other fast food places.

Helping a friend do some work on their place, they went out and got lunch, grabbed it from here, .... granted drive thru and such but you could tell the fries had been sitting a while, and the burger was essentially a bun of tasteless slop, this is the second time ive had a bad expeiance with this place, their will not be third, if you can avoid going here do so, save your money , hell a PBnJ sandwich would have been a better choice.
