Trout Street Grill - Port Aransas

So far this is the best restaurant on the island where I have eaten. The fried fish and shrimp plate was excellent and my loved the Cajun shrimps and rubber butter. Unlike some other facilities on the island, you will definitely get what you pay here.

This place has the best steaks on the island! I was here with my wife last week. Our food was delicious, our waitress was very attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. We tried the Phoenix next night and her $50.00 file Mignon was the worst steak I've ever had. They tasted it in water. Couldn't even get steak sauce to try to make it more appealing as the cook didn't allow it. Funny. So we went back to this place. Different waitress. Great service. Eating amazing. Very recommended!

Trout Street is back and better than ever! What a fantastic representation of recovery. The place was kept as close to the original as possible. Some very tasteful updates include the old floor finishing and added to walls and bar. This restaurant has a good meal. Fresh catch of the day was black drum. My family ordered this three different ways and WOW! Fantastic service as before. Do not miss this special place on your next visit to the island.

Omg that was our first time and we'll be safe again. Has a cook for the best Ribeye Steak my husband ever had. I've always heard a good steak doesn't need an A-1 steak sauce, my husband has been eating steaks for years and low to see that was the first time, never A-1. The waitress Kaitlin was amazing, her props. She was quickly friendly and brought everything and everything we ask without hesitation. This place is beautiful has a great atmosphere and we loved the boardwalk outside where you can drink smoke while waiting to be called for your table. Love loved this place

Best fried shrimp, gumbo and the blackened drum with boudin was the best we ever had and we’ve been coming to Port A for years.
