Tarpon Grill - Port Aransas

Love it. I'll say the parts are huge. 2 persons can share any court. The food was so amazing and I just don't have enough creative and wonderful words to say how they decorated the place. The best. I will go back soooo without a doubt.

We live in Rockport and attended a baby shower at the restaurant. The food was absolutely fabulous. Although the event was held outside on the patio deck when we walked inside it was cozy and inviting. I can't wait for date night and have dinner and cocktails. Such a classy little gem.

I loved everything about it. There yesterday evening and our server stairs and the food. Let's just say they beat it out of the park. I think I'll go back to sit at the bar and have a few drinks next time in town. Besides, it is the perfect place to get some drinks before you go over the street to get your groove on Bernie’s. Hands down excellent

Unbelievable meal! My husband had mignon the bone-in file with garlic potatoes and asparagus. Absolute perfection....it is not usual to find a bone-in file mignon and this was cooked for perfection. I had the Jumbo scallops that were amazing. The wine card is extensive and they also have a full bar. Great atmosphere, relaxed, demanding... this cook really knows her business! We make La Barataria a restaurant when we visit Port A!!

La Barataria is an excellent place to take a bite! When I left, I ordered the grilled chicken breast, served with cream corn, garlic potatoes, and a side of caramelized carrots. The chicken breast was large, plump and juicy, with a delicious taste. The cream corn was some of the best I ever had, while the potatoes were light, fluffy and very well seasoned. In the end the carrots were an excellent compliment to all others, and the food made me wish more. Would definitely recommend.
