Mythai Sushi And Sake - Port Aransas

We are HUGE Thai fans and thought we would check this place for lunch. There was a strange smell when we entered and sat down. We shared a pad Thai and was sadly disappointed. It was bland and boring, although we asked for #3 spice levels. More noodles than anything. And the 3 shrimps were overboiled dry. Very disappointing, least to say. I'm not back.

Sushi is wonderful and main dishes are very good. Owner/Hostess was very friendly and personally prepared our sushi.

The food was good. The waitress was rude not very friendly and did not mention the payment with cash discount when asked. Snarky and Rude on everyone who was expensive and not clean.

We were there a few days ago. The restaurant is small, but the menu is quite elaborate. You can make any item vegetarian by replacing meat with vegetables and tofu. It seemed like the whole restaurant was operated by only three people in the kitchen, one of the customers, and one to make sushi rolls. It was unpleasant to see how they work so hard. We ordered 5 different items including an order of sushi rolls. Sushi was fine, but I had better sushi from our grocery store. ANNEX Thai articles were delicious, but two articles were excessively salty. Very little rice was served with curries. I would have given 5 stars if the salt was correct and a larger bowl of rice was served. I would definitely go back there, but would ask to lower the amount of salt and choose Spice Mirror 4 next time. All articles were on the pricier side compared to restaurants near my house, but I don't know if this is normal price for this area in Port Aransas.

Driving around Port A last night we came across this gem. Truly hit the spot. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We also tried the Pad Thai which was tasty. I appreciated the sushi chefs; they really seem to know their craft. The guy was happy to answer our questions and made the rolls beautifully. The only thing I would have liked is for the sushi to be a little more cold and the waitress to learn the menu a little better. Overall pleasant experience!
