Turtle Island Fish & Chips

Ordered fish dinner for two, received only one plate with combo and small portions with a single coleslawMeal was just okCost was 27 dollars.

They charged my parents who are in their 80's a surcharge for a extra plate so they could share their meal. Not a classy move so we won't be back.

Had the clam chowder and while the ingredients were very fresh, I felt it was still rather unremarkable and overpriced.

BEST halibut and chips ever!!! HIGHLY recommend this place. True experience with water right there. Get the salt air and fish/chips cant beat it!!!

I was so tired of spending too much on mediocre food all week that my expectations were very low for this final holiday lunch. My dining partner and I were blown away, however, by the freshness and delicate handling of both the battered halibut and...the huge six oyster entrees. The chips were fresh tasting too although a little crispy for my taste to be considered great. We loved the spray bottles of regular and malted vinegar. We sat in the sunny Spirit Square in Harbour Quay enjoying the smell of the sweet pea arbours and the sea side views. There are public washrooms conveniently located on the other side of the square. Would definitely return here.
