La Bruschetta Bistro - Port Alberni

It started with us waiting half an hour after we were seated for someone to ask us what we'd like to drink. It was a busy night and there was basically one waitress who was Amazing! From what I saw, she took care of all the tables while 3 others walked around or stood around confused. It wasn't their fault though, they were clearly inexperienced and inadequately trained. Management is to blame for that. People were complaining all around us. Food was average, I've had sauces from a jar that were far better flavour and consistency. Not sure I'll ever go back to give them another chance, but if I do I definitely know what not to order.

As a traveler, one doesn't expect to find a great Italian restaurant in a small town. But we discovered this gem and the hostess (owner)? agreed to serve us even though it was very close to closing time. The food was delicious, and cooked to perfection. And the service was excellent. The place is located somewhat off the beaten track, so hopefully more travel-weary tourists will find their way to its doors for a great eating experience. Marg T

Stopped 1 night in Port Alberni. Looked up restaurant choices online

My wife and I shared the lasagna but I wish we had each ordered our own. They make all of their own pastas and sauces from scratch, it was delicious and the service was great too. I will definitely be going back whenever I am in Port Alberni, check it out!

Great food atmosphere is excellent greeted with a smile food was hot and great tasting not to much just right .no complaint will be returning
