Bidra med feedbackThe most amazing chicken satay and spring rolls I have ever tasted. The main meal was cooked to perfection. A hidden gem!
Have been there a few times over the last 4 years. Went for lunch today. Fantastic Authentic Thai food. The food is made with produce grown on the property. The Tom Yum soup is amazing. Definitely a little gem that you would not expect in the Porongurups..
I have been here on three occasions and have never been disappointed. Yes it is a bit pricey but so worth it, and what Thai Restaurant isn't. Well worth the drive, have always booked ahead and take wine with us to enjoy our meal. The food is certainly authentic and very fresh, full of wonderful flavours. Thai is my favourite cuisine, and the dishes tasted as if you were in Thailand which we visit every year, so for us it is a great joy coming to this restaurant. Everyone makes you feel so welcome and the service is great. Looking forward to our next visit.
In what feels like the middle of nowhere, is a home-style Thai restaurant called Maleeya's Thai Cafe. The menu is "minimalist" but all the favourites are on there -- Massaman curry, the red and green curries, and Tom Yum Goong, for example. But what makes the food tastier than your regular Thai restaurant is that Maleeya uses free range chicken, organic sirloin beef, and fresh vegetables. I was also impressed that she was prepared and able to modify the meals to be gluten-free. The meal was expensive ($90 for two mains and an entree), but delicious.
Great restaurant in a lovely rural setting. A must visit when in the South West, can't get enough of the food and always worth a detour down Porongup drive. Advisable to book in advance as they are a family operated business and trade on weekends only and for short trading hours...
