Il 51 - Pornassio

We enter this place on the road and with a narrow inner courtyard called dehors here and address to the lady I ask what the pensioners of the country drink and the answer was: coffee or Crodino; then we ask two whites, we opt for two Arneis that we do not have the pleasure to know at the time of the account we pay 9 Euro our fault that we did not ask for the quote. We know that our South Tyrol is dear but here (with all due respect) we are not in Val Gardena...

We often stop at bar 51 for a coffee but lately we stopped twice to have lunch. Yesterday we sat in the outer dehor very simple but comfortable. A good cutter of meats a goat and a salad together with a chat with the owner turned a fast stop in a pleasant break.

Local very simple but warm and well maintained. Friendly and professional owner. Hot sandwiches and dishes according to availability, but of good quality and with foods often local production. Great beer and with good choice also in bottle. In summer pleasant and fresh dehors. A good place to stop and come back.

After rediscovering the beautiful center of Ormea we stop at this bar along the Tanaro, right in Ponte Nava; well-kept environment and excellent coffee; the owner is preparing to let us know the areas towards the border with France of Briga and Tenda, with the evolutions of history and current climatic disasters.

We're going home by hazar and we're eating legs with excellent truffles, more truffles than legs. The services at the top
