Red Stag Restaurant - POREPUNKAH

We reserved a table for four on the outdoor deck. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff who were all very friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. I only had a coffee, but the rest of my family enjoyed their meals and were all satisfied with the quality. An unexpected bonus was the opportunity to interact with and feed the beautiful animals on the farm. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location with absolutely stunning view scones were a 10/10, huge fluffy scene with plentiful jam and looked. they'll make one fall and get them something.

Our group of cyclists stopped by for pre-ordered morning coffee. The pastries were delicious, but we had trouble getting coffee refills. We would have appreciated a quicker service for our large group.

What’s not to like? Stunning views, delicious food, friendly service and lots of cute animals to see. We visited two days in a row; on the first visit we enjoyed a really yummy share platter which was plenty for two at lunch, and the next...day we simply had to return to sample those amazing scones we saw other diners eating! Oh my goodness the scones were huge, and golden crusty on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Jam and cream was generous. We could have sat on the balcony for hours just drinking in the beautiful view across vineyards and farmland to the mountains…. The waitstaff on both days were most attentive, even when busy. Josh was friendly and efficient, as was our other server (I didn’t get her name) who also offered to take our photo for us. We loved seeing the cute baby goats in their pen, and being able to pat the kids was fun. The deer in full antler were interesting as well. A great place for couples as well as young families. A must if you’re staying in Bright it’s just a short drive.

It's a beautiful location but unfortunately the average food and poor service bring it down. Plenty of staff on but still waited for close to half an hour to order. Then an hour wait for our meals. I had the beer battered flathead which was...just the frozen flathead you can buy in any supermarket. Waiter was terrible, zero manners or personality.
