Mr Cs Pizza Subs - Poquoson

We ordered takeout. Cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. And don 't forget the wings. First impression was unimpressive. The crust looked funnny, similar to the crust used in Lou Malnatti 's deep dish but it was soft. I would have liked it to have been crispy. Actually, it was the next day when I heated it up in the toaster oven. While I was thrown off by the different crust? I actually really liked it. It had a nice texture and flavor. The cheese was very good as well and the sauce was good. The same thing happened to the wings. I was told they were breaded and deep fried and they weren 't tossed in any sauce; the only sauce options were Blue Cheese and Ranch--dipping sauces. Not my usual preference but I thought I 'd give it a shot. Surprisingly the wings were quite good. They were massive, like the chickens were taking 'roids or something. It was better than I thought it would be and it tasted better than it looked. Look forward to trying the sandwiches next.

Meh. Honestly nothing to super brag about. It was good, and I am sure we would be back. There was just nothing specific to brag about here. Our food came out piping hot and our waitress was kind and helpful. It could be a little cleaner I did enjoy the history of Mr. Cs. Just like most of Poquoson it does have a story/history. The prices were not bad at all, very comparable to other restaurants selling pizza and subs.

Great pizza and plenty of other food! Prices are very reasonable. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Have enjoyed eating here for years. Mr. C's have my favorite pizzas. The large salads are big enough for 2 people easily. The toasted subs hands down beat Subway. The wait staff has always been friendly and courteous. Wish I still worked close by so I could have lunch there.

Got the 1/2 sub and salad as a first-timer. Not disappointed! The toasted 1/2 turkey sub was a perfect match to their legendary salad! The house dressing is amazing! So glad I had the order phoned in and it was ready for pickup as promised. Looks like a second visit will be planned very soon.
