Yamato Steak House Of Japan - Pontotoc

We had combination dishes with chicken, shrimp and steak. Steak was rare and we couldn't cook it anymore. The server then returned the ticket twice while we still eat, asked me to pay. When she came for the third time, I finally stopped eating, paying and leaving. Not the food or service I expect with a $70 meal!

The food was great. The service was great. But a 14.57$ tip on the bill for a group of five people on the table separately pay is exorbitant.

This was my first experience with sushi and this business, but our server, Michael was so sweet and funny and very helpful.... You see them all...

They only had one waitress. She was amazing! She needed a raise for her great festive attitude and paramount customer service! I know people my disagree. But it's not easy serving the public. I wish people would be mindful of that. A waitress can only do what her boss tells her to do.

Very good food. Not great service though, the waitress was very distracted and inattentive. I know things can get stressful in the field of waitressing but it was not busy at all, only 3 in our party, amd we weren't demanding of anything so it should have been a fairly easy task. Cleanliness was ok. Didn't use the restroom while there so I'm not sure hiw that was. Good food though.
