Bidra med feedbackOne of the famous food spot in Pontianak. Hence, I visit the noodle shop. We ordered Yam Mie (Bakmi), with various toppings like char siew, fish cake, and fish meatball. It was great, though I must say not really my favourite. But definitely worth the price and i think I'll revisit
I ate Bakmi Kering (dry noodle), or known as Jam Mien in local dialect. My companions ordered Kwetiaw Kuah (kway teow soup), Kwetiaw Kering (dry kway teow), and Bihun kuah (bee hoon/rice vercimelli soup) as seen in the attached pictures. For me, the Bakmi Kering I ordered lacked the sourness of Pemangkat noodle, so I added more vinegar to my plate of noodles Well, I am used to eating the more sour version of Pemangkat noodles so my opinion might be a little biased though. The portion was quite big, and it has toppings typical of Bakmi Pemangkat.
Ordered their Dry Noodle (Bakmi Kering) and Soya Milk (Susu/Sari Kacang) for a dinner. The seller made sure that I ate pork when I was ordering. It was either an insult or a reminder for a non-halal eater like me. The noodle has its unique sour taste but again I need to add pepper to my noodle and a lot of chili sauce. Almost every food I tasted in Pontianak was tasteless, I don’t know why. The taste wasn’t bold like many pork noodle I had in Jakarta. The place was clean, bright and spacious.
Clean place... The taste of food is very good and not too expensive. The noodles are produced by themselves without preservatives and coloring.
Finally I found Pangsit goreng! Not the crispy, but the ones we can eat like kwe tiaw... Super happy and my belly super happy too: Not half
