Trattoria Giglio - PONTE DELL'OLIO

I stopped by chance while passing by... Very friendly girl, family welcome... Amazing cuisine made by a cook like she used to be, homely and genuine, excellent!... The only flaw is the small room but the food is excellent! I had a very good and delicate seafood risotto, an amazing fried cod with onion and green beans on the side... A quarter of red wine and a bottle of water, coffee 15 euros because cod obviously costs more than the fixed menu... I am very very satisfied with my lunch stop, I will be back!

We stopped for a break to break up the journey. We sit down and a rather annoyed lady asks for our orders. We ask for a blueberry juice and are told that it is not possible, it could happen that we have run out of it. So we ask if it is possible to have a fruit-flavored soft drink, the lady looks at us as if we had asked for the moon and tries to give us more. In the end we order two waters, a coca-cola and a pineapple juice. Obviously after having brought things in a hurry because he had to speak to a table of customers, regulars I assume, which was also the only other occupied table; therefore the lady was in no hurry due to the high attendance of the place. Obviously we aren't even brought a small bowl with something to munch on, as is common practice at aperitif time.

Pranzo dei lavoratori. si mangia molto bene e servizio veloce. Bene.
