Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I were guests of the farm the Ghizzo with two friends. A large porch offers the possibility to have lunch in a rustic but welcoming environment. Cause wind we opted for lunch inside the small but characteristic room. The mother of the owner, responsible for the kitchen and service (coadiuvata for the occasion from the very nice granddaughter) welcomed us warmly. At the table we immediately found a taste of excellent salt cake that we savored together with a glass of sparkling wine produced and offered by the company. Immediately after a long cutter of local meats accompanied by a selection of local cheeses, all excellent, as well as the gardener. Pi would and tortelli, then a second of meat all excellently cooked. To finish desserts with choice between self-produced ice cream, homemade cakes, tiramisu etc. An excellent sparkling gutturnio accompanied the meal and, with surprise, two bottles of the same were omaggiated at the end of the meal to take home. We enjoyed the quiet and family atmosphere and the great passion with which the owners carry out their activities. Euro 30/cad. In my opinion, it is irresponsible in relation to the overall quality of the service received. Definitely recommended.
For a Sunday lunch here I am with friends in an ameno farm of the pleasure. The welcome and service are very friendly: the kitchen is managed entirely by a kind and attentive lady to the clientele. There is no à la carte menu and then you go with the ordering/tastes of appetizers, first and second. We choose as wine an excellent Gutturnio reserve of the house. The appetizers are the classic donkeys accompanied by the broth. Waiting times are a little long. The first (pi would, tortelli, marubini are good and well prepared. I tasted the stracotto for a second, but the guinea fowl. It was absolutely unpleasant. I'll be back?
It is very regrettable to negatively review a place managed by a very kind and helpful lady who in practice alone does all of her. But this is the only positive aspect. For the rest we are not.!!! We've been in seven six plus a baby at lunch last Sunday. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who alone was serving and cooking. We took 7 starters, mixed meats brought on a nice cutter. There was no fried cake but it arrived, on a small saucepan the bortellina that was burned. Then five first, tortelli and three seconds. The first nothing special. I'd be a little hot and cold. Seconds not good in particular the two strawberries. The meat was hard and stopposa and cold polenta. To finish five desserts. Two waters and two wines. Total 180 euros!!! Quality report scandalous price considering that we ate also in a cold room heated by a stove but with a icy floor, foods of low quality and with a very long service since the lady, left alone for most of the time, alternated as a cook between kitchen and orders at the tables as a waitresss. The choice of foods is limited and there is no list with prices. I honestly didn't understand how we could spend 180 euros for what we ate. The place therefore I discourage it. Absolutely ...to avoid also because nearby, there are farms where you eat definitely better, more professional and you spend the same figure with a service and quality without comparison.
Very characteristic farm, but above all excellent cuisine of Piacenza. Wonderful welcome, really one last of the special year, definitely to return and to recommend. Strepitosa the brothel, accompanied by our greetings, very good both the first and the second. Panettone made by them, very good the sbrisolona, accompanied by their superlative wines doc.dulcis at the bottom, the very kind owner has also honored us of their wines. wonderful location as well as the company. 10 with praise in everything. recommended
Our salvation, after great wandering, is it. an appearance, great welcome, delicious dishes served with loving care, great family and beautiful people, . deserves a return that we will shortly do. Not to be missed..
