Nacional - Ponta Delgada

Restaurante maravilhoso, com ótima comida e excelente equipe. As lapas e o atum estavam fantásticos, assim como todas as outras comidas e o vinho verde.

That was my favorite meal in Ponta Delgada. I ate here with my family of six on Friday 24 June 2022. The service and the food were excellent. The decor is traditional with black and white images from Ponta Delgada on the walls. We loved the simple bread and cheese plate as an appetizer. I loved my pig in passion fruit sauce for dinner. We also loved our desserts. The orange flavored gelatine cake was particularly delicious.

You have to come here! This is an authentic Ponta Delgado restaurant. We were recommended to this place by a local and were not disappointed. The steak, shrimp and grilled tuna were made perfect. All sauces were excellent and clear, without being overheated or sophisticated. It was nice to see locals in the restaurant. Above all, our server, Miguel, gave incredible and friendly service and helped us with our poor Portuguese.

The restaurant has been here for a long time which makes it popular. The food is good and the staff are all attentive.

Probably 4.5 to be fair. Service was top class and the food really good. The wine from Pico was also delicious. Great local feel and would definitely have again.
