Relais du Commerce - Pont-d'Ouilly

Absolutely the best meal we have eaten here in France for a long time, restaurant is beautiful and very clean, waitress was beautiful and cost were more than reasonable for what we ate!

Since most smaller posters were closed, we had lunch here in the brasserie. the plate de jour was only 9 euro and was very tasty.

Amazing eating, beautiful ambiente. good service and very friendly staff. we will definitely visit again when we return to Normandy.

We dined here with American friends on October 16th. We live locally local and have dined here a few times previously and have regularly recommended the restaurant to people staying in our gite. However this time we were seated in the brasserie presumably because there...were few other clients. It was cold an uninviting, some candles or flowers would have helped to create an ambience, or even some soft music. Our meal was pleasant enough but nothing really special considering the price. For us a whole dining experience includes ambience and service. Well there was no ambience and the service was efficient, but the young waitress was unfriendly and barely managed a smile. Over all it was a somewhat disappointing evening.

This is a good quality restaurant which specialises in fresh seafood. although a little way from the coats we had the most delicious oysters followed by the lobster!
