In the past was eating and service very well. the restaurant segregates its customers and asks for private health information. rated terrible, because no service was provided.

Four of us were meeting for `coffee` at our local A&W....none of us got good customer service! (we all ordered separately). In fact, the last in our group came in while the 3rd persons order was being made, and then a male customer came in...the store. NEITHER one of them got served at the counter. The employee (Cecil) seemed more interested in serving the customers coming thru the drive thru....the man got tired of waiting and left....my friend got tired of waiting and came and sat down, empty handed. About 5 minutes later, the employee came over to the table to see if my friend wanted to order. No thanks. Also, while we were there, the fire safety company came to check on the restaurants fire extinguishers etc. The same employee and the technician had a very loud conversation in front of us about the fact that the fire extinguisher on the premises was outdated!!! From 2010 or 2011 regardless, that shows me a lack of care on the part of owners and managers. Makes me wonder what other stuff is less than important to them. Oh, did I mention my onion rings were only lukewarm??? Don`t think I will be back.

Although the food is usually pretty good at this restaurant, fast food it is NOT....we always seem to wait for our food. This last visit was no different....we waited at least 6 minutes for our order, yet there was very few customers...when we did receive...it, it was hot and tasty. Service is not the greatest.

I've just found out I have food poisoning. A&w in ponoka alberta. Is the only food I ate last night. Started feeling horrid by late this morning. I've since learnt that I'm about the 8th case of food poisoning from that location in about 6...months. I do not recommend this restaurant at ALL,,,,,,,!!!!!!!!
