Pinas. .rest - Ponce

Cosy spot in a hidden corner in Ponce with great prices and large amounts of food. Pinas is one of those places where it is so out of your way that you would normally not consider visiting. But let me tell you that it is worth visiting. I had the fish with rice and beans and avocado

It looks like a family house. Everyone was very polite and attentive. The food was delicious. You will get free bottle of water with you food. Street parking.

Found this place through Google Maps as the restaurant we usually visit when we go to Ponce had an event and couldn't acomodate our party. The place is not an upscale restaurant. Is more of a bar/restaurant place with a pool table, bar, high chairs, etc. The food was really really good. We ordered mofongo stuffed with churrasco, chuleta can can, churrasco with rice and beans, and a sampler plate. Sampler is really good with enough food for 5 people. Food was quick and service was great. Really good parking and very accesible facilities. 100% recommended.

The food is amazing here and at a great price! Location wise it's a bit secluded from what I saw. We are just passing through ponce and picked the closest thing to us. The lady that took our order also said she would be cooking the food. Not sure if she is the owner or part owner but it was amazing so my compliments to her for the amazing service! Se lo recomiendo a todos pasando por ponce! Edit: Some reviewers are mad about long wait times. The food here is fresh unlike the u.s. You can tell by the taste and quality of the food. Don't expect speedy service because this isn't a fast food joint. Expect delicious food from this establisment! 1000% recommend to come here and wait patiently!

Excellent food and service. Lunch special for $7 is a great deal and has good variety of meats
