Bidra med feedbackThe guy that owns the place couldn't have been more helpful. We tasted three or four wines and then bought half a dozen bottles. He cut up some bread because I was hungry and didn't want to try the wines on an empty stomach! Would go back next time for dinner although very limited menu.
This small looking brasserie is larger than it looks, with only a couple of street tables it has plenty of room in the bar, small dining area and outside at the back too. A simple menu of few choices such as a large charcuterie to share is complimented by an excellent wine list.
We thoroughly enjoyed both visits to this little bar. Hosts were pleasant and helpful and gave great personal service. A great option for a simple but delicious meal accompanied by a glass (or bottle) of wine. Highly recommended. We ate outside and in the tiny courtyard. Both nice options.
We were told to visit Pommard , just south of Beaune in Bougogne-for wine shopping.Fanny Sabre is a new, young shop & cafe with an excellent proprietor- Sebastian. He truly knows his wine, and he gives the clients the attention and a sense of enthusiasim about the wine (and the fantastic snacks he sells).Which you dont get from the established houses....no appointment needed, very freindly welcome, nice surroundings in English and French. As a new business (Sebastian opened in January 2014), this gentleman deserves more than a noteworthiy review on trip advisor, he deserves a stream of new customers to visit ....do so and you wont be disappointed!
