Pic-nic - Pombal

This was my second visit. First time I had lasagna which was amazing and my partner had the steak. Today I also had steak and it was the best I have ever tasted. I moved here 3 years ago and this was better than anything I had had in UK. The food is excellent and value for money fantastic. Definately recommended

In need of sustenance after a mega plant buying spree we detoured into Pombal on our way back to Miranda do Corvo. Just by the fish market this restaurant is surrounded by ample parking so we stopped. Fish soup, a great house red wine, steaks to die for. Simple, straightforward honest and wholesome. What made our day was the order ticket, placed by the side of the table, had the order time on it! Brilliant its quality and service. Loved it and will go back. Large Continente supermarket just up from the restaurant so eat and shop.

Eat where the locals eat. This super little restaurant is well priced and the food and local wine superb. I had the veal and it was melt in the mouth. Go hungry. Highly recommended.
