Platanos - Polygyros

Location is very nice and authentic under a maple tree, however the food disappointed. We ordered lamb chops, which were charcoal burned and were only bones with barely any meat. The other dishes were mediocre.

Very special restaurant in the old town of Nikiti. Great ambience, very nice atmosphere. Well eaten and drunk. A feel good place.

Really good restaurant, the menu is not huge, but it is unique and very good. The location is perfect, feels hidden in a different world, perfect ambiance and scenery, the staff was great, eager to help and accommodate, the prices are not bad and food is delicious. One thing I would recommend, and I know this doesn’t happen almost anywhere in Europe, but maybe when the food includes: steak, burgers, eggs, please ask how you would like it cooked. Overall great experience, delicious food. Highly recommend.

This is an highly commendable restaurant. The location is a traditional Greek mountain village but near a sea resort,, well worth a visit anyway. The lovely tree that gives its name to the establishment, provides shade for all visitors. But the essence is food, and this is what you get in good quality, well prepared, served professionally to a high standard. The taste of Greece is here, only it is tweaked by the chef, just the right amount (thankfully not that much that it is not Greek), but not highly priced. Very good value for money, including the wine and the friendly and polite service. The music is good as well and there is a bar opposite the square. I cannot recommend a dish, because we tried several during our two visits, and all were yummy and a joy to eat. We only felt sorry when we finished our food, but pleasantly full as well. Do not miss.
