Al Faro - Polcenigo

We lived in Italy many years ago and this was one of our favorite restaurants. If you don't mind a little harrowing drive it is worth it. The fabulous view is only rivaled by the delicious food. If you leave here hungry it is your fault.

I have visited Al Faro on two occasions. First visit order from dinner menu nightly special. food was good nothing special to write about. well prepared and tasty. Second visit decided to try pizza which they are known for. Outstanding! I will say the best pizza I have had in Aviano area. Great crust fresh ingredients. A couple of the wait staff are a little cold and uninterested in service but typical for Italy. I will definitely return for the pizza. Great view of also.

Great food and great atmosphere. Owners very warm and welcoming. Ensure that you take cash, as they do not take cards. Very reasonable prices.

Really good Christmas lunch menu, welcome cocktail, special appetizers, first and second great, friendly and friendly staff and local from the beautiful panorama. If I had to give a negative note, I would give it on the part of the first a little minimal. However score more than positive.
