Bidra med feedbackWe usually go to the Chez Cora in Kirkland, but thought we might give the Pointe Claire Chez Cora a chance. We ended up regretting doing so. The service was somewhat slow and not the friendliest. What I did not like the most was that I could see the fruit and salad chef typing on his phone constantly. He would use his phone and then pick up some food and start handling it. This went on for the entire visit. It is very unsanitary to be using the phone and then handle food without washing your hands in between. People's phones are full of germs and it grossed me out to think I was eating this food. That being said, the rest of the meal (eggs and potato) was tasty and well made. I will never return to this Chez Cora however, as I would rather not eat food handled by dirty hands.
The fruit is fresh and the food came out hot. very impressed. The service was quick, coffee is hot. Great eggs benedict!
I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. I was fortunate to arrive when there was no queue just 2 people ahead of me. Within 10mins however, there was a line out of the door and all tables full. Always a good sign. I had the Jo Construction which is 3 eggs, 3 sausages and 3 strips of bacon, served with toast and potatoes. I added some sautéed mushroom to the potatoes and has a cappuccino to wash it down. Service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant was busy and it took a little while to get the food but that also indicates cooked to order which is a plus. I would certainly go back.
My meal came quickly and was hot. I ate the whole plate when I normally take food home. It was excellent!
Worst experience at a Cora’s ever! Avoid this place at all cost. Undercooked bacon, undercooked potatoes. Burnt sausages, Toast with no butter, coffee with no milk or sugar. Maple syrup packed incorrectly leading to a mess. Save your money and time and go literally anywhere els and I guarantee you’ll get a better breakfast.
