The Broadway Bar and Grill

Nice place and the waiter brooks was really nice and efficient. Unfortunately not really kid friendly. I guess some people forget that they were also kids one day

Even though I now live in Florida, whenever I'm back in NJ, I make it a point to stop by the Broadway Bar and grill. I have been coming to this location for at least 45 years since it was originally Neilleys Long Bar. Now granted, I was only 5 years old at the time, but that didn't stop my father from loading up my big wheel and telling me to be careful when playing in the parking lot. Fsst forward from 1978 to 2023.... I brought my 15 year son in after a good day on the Norma K III. We sat at the bar mid week around 3pm. We had a great burger but before it was over, I was spoken to regarding a child sitting at the bar. I apologized for the misjudgement and withheld the story of my childhood days spent sitting at the bar.

Burger was delicious, and the entertainment was amazing. We went on hump day to see Drew and his gang. Highly recommend it! Clams were some of the freshest I have ever tasted! This place is a very small kitchen but what they cook is delicious. I think that might have the best french fries in all of the Jersey shore. But one thing is, they definitely have the best entertainment on the Jersey shore!

Local dive bar , open pretty much all night. If you 're after ambiance, look somewhere else but the staff are friendly, the place is comfortable/shabby, drink prices are reasonable and they do a solid pour. I can 't rate the food but the wings really are excellent and worth a detour if you 're a wing lover. They also have some fun live music, quality can be hit or miss but they give local bands a shot, and I appreciate that. If you 're after some fancy, uppity gastro pub, you 're looking in the wrong place. If you want fun, simple and interesting people, Broadway has got you. If it 's 6am and you 're going on a fishing charter, you can buy carry-out beers here. If you wanna sit down and drink after a night shift, you can do that too.

Great late-night bar and grill. Bartender takes over the grill duties after the kitchen closes. Flame-broil grill and deep fryer right behind the bar, so 11pm burger and fries is the best way to experience this joint!
